You have Seen that whatsapp takes lot of Space in your Phone. It takes about 40-50 Mb.
I have solution of this problem.
Root your phone. Download Root explorer and Mount RW,In root explorer Go to DATA>DATA>com.whatsapp and delete folder named logs and don't worry your Chats or media will not be deleted.
It'll free up space upto 20-30 mb
